Templelife

This program is for those who want a brief experience of both Korean and Buddhist culture. Basic programs include the temple tour, tea ceremony, meditation, and making lotus lanterns.

Group Templelife (for Koreans or foreign visitors)

Period: Approximately two hours Numbers of participants allowed: groups of at least five people (if there are thirty participants or more, they will be divided into two smaller groups, and then alternate joining the activities). Fee: 20,000 Won per person Basic schedule (Approximately 2 ½ hours) - Temple tour - Tea ceremony(Da-do) - Seon Meditation - Making lotus flowers Optional programs (Over 3 hours) Period: Approximately three hours, according to the schedule of the participants Numbers of participants allowed: group of 10-30 people (if there are thirty participants or more, they will be divided into two smaller groups, and then alternate joining the activities). Fee: 30,000 Won per person Basic schedule + optional programs (You may choose one from copying Buddhist sutras, printing Buddhist sutras, 108 prostrations and rosary making) Policies: Please wear socks and do not wear sleeveless tops or shorts when visiting the temple during the summer season.

Thursday Templelife Program (for foreigner visitors)

Period: 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. every Thursday Fee: 20,000 Won per person No need to reserve. Schedule (Approximately 2 ½ hours) 14:00 Temple tour 15:00 Tea ceremony (Da-do) 15:30 Making lotus flowers 16:00 Seon Meditation with Monk
